Luminous Misty Falls is Well Underway
I have been very busy working on Luminous Misty Falls, my painting of Vernal Falls in the Yosemite Valley. So far, I have completed a little over a third of the painting with the foreground waterfall and the trees still needing to be finished. It has taken me some time to get myself back into my paintings after losing my father, but I have finally been able to reengage in my artwork. I hope to have this newest painting finished near the end of March, first of April.
Here is a sneak peek of a section of the middle-ground, background and sky from this latest painting. I used a late afternoon sky filled with golden clouds to emphasize the glowing mist of the waterfall spray. I am looking forward to seeing this summer setting alongside my spring themed Stunning Liberty Cap.
