Glorious Grand Canyon – Behind the Scenes

When I visited Grand Canyon National Park with a good friend a few years back, I was in the process of recovering from knee surgery on both knees. As a result, I was reduced to walking around the rim.  I navigated around each turn and found myself taking many pictures of the unique views.  After the trip, I began creating several designs using those photos.  With such dramatic scenery found all along the south rim, I originally considered painting a different view. I explored one more composition, which I instantly loved and decided to paint.
